Myles Katz
Myles Katz is a licensed Psilocybin Facilitator and was co-founder of The Synthesis Institute, one of the world’s most renowned psilocybin retreat and facilitator training programs until it's closure in 2018. At Synthesis, he helped pioneer one of the first legal psychedelic retreat models, supporting over 1,000 participants in transformational experiences. With a deep commitment to ethical and intentional psychedelic work, Myles has spent years refining best practices for safe, structured, and deeply integrative psilocybin experiences.
Now, as the founder of Confluence Retreats, Myles offers 5-day immersive psilocybin programs in Oregon, emphasizing community, nature connection, and holistic support. Unlike single-day psilocybin sessions, these retreats provide an extended journey with breathwork, meditation, yoga, and structured integration to deepen the experience. The multi-day format allows participants to explore their inner process in a safe and supportive environment, surrounded by a small group of peers and skilled facilitators. Held in beautiful, nature-rich settings, Confluence Retreats create space for profound healing, self-discovery, and connection—before, during, and long after the psilocybin experience itself.
Rachel Valdes
Rachel is a mom, teacher, nurse, facilitator, and ally. She loves to share her love and support with those around her. Rachel’s passion for this work is to provide high quality services for low to no costs to those in need and underserved populations. She is really looking forward to connecting with you.
Rose Sears
Rose is a licensed psilocybin facilitator devoted to creating safe, supportive spaces for those who have lived through trauma, abuse, and chronic self-doubt. With a degree in clinical psychology and a professional background in the medical field, Rose has always been passionate about supporting others through their healing. She grew disillusioned with the limitations of traditional systems and the message that “this is just how it is.” She felt called to do something deeper and to live an empowered life.
She believes that mushrooms can be powerful tools for healing, but the true change comes from within. Psilocybin helps create the space for people to reconnect with their inner wisdom, challenge old patterns, and discover new ways of thinking.
Her work centers on compassion, connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. She is honored to walk alongside those seeking healing and transformation and looks forward to supporting others in finding the joy, peace, and freedom they deserve.
Kristopher McDonald
Kristof became a licensed facilitator in Oregon because of his own transformative experience with psilocybin.
He is a husband, father, combat vet, and Human Resource professional who strives every day to be an effective leader and coach.
For the last 20 years, in his HR roles, Kristoff has nurtured talent within organizations and led efforts to help people develop and achieve successful careers. Although his life was full of positivity and opportunity, his ability to fully experience it was compromised by PTSD and anxiety. He searched for ways to release himself from the trauma that was attached to him like a barnacle on a ship: underwater and out of sight, but a lingering and troublesome problem.
Kristof chose to resolve his trauma with psilocybin with the guidance of a certified facilitator.
His psilocybin journey was so transformative that he knew that he wanted to help others experience it and to be a part of the psilocybin movement.
